On this page, you'll find a collection of songs that I have transcribed / tabbed / arranged for the guitar. When I was unsure about the lyrics of a song, I consulted other websites, but the musical content is my own work. Some tabs simply list the chords to be played, whereas others contain detailed picking and fretting info.

Who would want to play children's theme tunes on their guitar?

Anyone who is still a child at heart :-)  Everyone can remember their favourite TV shows from when they were little, and if you're around my age (22), you'll have grown up with the wonderful programmes from the 80s.  Whenever you hear and recognise a theme tune from your youth, it brings back nostalgic memories of the simple and happy world of childhood.  It's the most wonderful feeling, quite unlike anything else!  It's great fun to play themes to other people, and watch their faces light up with a big smile, as long-lost memories come flooding back, and they exclaim "I remember watching that!!!".

To help share this wonderful experience, I'm arranging my favourite children's theme tunes for the guitar, and making them available here.  Obviously, a lot of themes were never intended to be played on a guitar, but these arrangements are hopefully close enough to the originals to be recognisable and fun :-)  For loads of great memories of children's TV from the 80s, then 80sNostalgia.com would be a good place to start...
